The "Maneater" dogs of Mt. Kailash, Tibet, 2010. These dogs are part of a pack that roam around Mt. Kailash, surviving off of scraps from pilgrims and the remains of humans who are brought to the sacred mountain for the traditional Tibetan Sky Burial. Without bountiful populations of vultures and scavenging birds, dogs have taken over the macabre practice of ingesting human remains.
